Temperature rising for IBIS 2011

24 maart 2011

Mid-May temperatures in Barcelona are typically in the seventies (21-24 degrees C) with sunshine and clear blue skies the norm – a great environment for the hottest event on the international collision repair calendar – IBIS 2011 – which takes place on May 16-18 at the Hotel Arts Barcelona.

Tony Aquila, chairman & CEO of Audatex owner Solera Holdings completes a superb speaker line-up, and NACE ‘the world’s largest collision repair event’ is confirmed as IBIS’s ninth Official Partner. Ron Pyle, Automotive Service Association President commented “NACE and IBIS share many common goals in uniting the collision industry, which makes this new partnership a logical next step in the evolution of both events. We value the key international audience and opportunities an event like IBIS provides, and NACE is pleased to be included as an Official Partner among an elite group of the collision industry”.

NACE joins existing IBIS Official Partners 3M, Akzo-Nobel, Audatex, Aviva-Solus, BASF, Enterprise, Innovation Group and Thatcham to set the scene for what is, potentially, the best IBIS yet. “We are delighted at the way our plans are coming together” said IBIS Chairman Chris Mann. “Our theme – 20/20 vision – defines our frame of reference for an industry looking ahead over the next five to ten years, through the perspectives of some of the sector’s most original and forward looking thinkers.

“Over the years, our delegates have been remarkably loyal, and I believe this is a tribute to the effectiveness of IBIS as an environment in which to learn, to make new contacts and to do business. “This year has been no exception, with the return of many familiar faces, whilst we are pleased to be welcoming an exciting influx of IBIS first timers from around the world. Indeed we are now almost up to our maximum capacity, so I would advise all those who plan to attend IBIS 2011 but have not yet booked to do so now, or risk missing out” Full details of IBIS 2011, along with the conference programme, timetable and speaker line up may be found on www.ibisworldwide.com .
